The Buford Wolves held off the visiting Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Wednesday's league match.
The Wolves now sport a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Habersham Central for a AAAAAA Region 8 match on Friday, February 25. Buford will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 7-3 league loss to Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 2-4.
The Bulldoggs (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Dacula (Dacula, GA). The Falcons go into the AAAAAA Region 8 game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Dacula was nudged by Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA), 2-1, in a league game.
