The Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines soccer team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Vidalia Indians to 0 in the Wolverines league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Wolverines face the Jeff Davis Yellowjackets (Hazlehurst, GA) in a AA Region 2 contest, on Thursday, February 24. Woodville-Tompkins will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the contest with a 2-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA).
The Indians now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Toombs County for a AA Region 2 contest on Friday, February 25. Vidalia will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-0 league win over East Laurens (East Dublin, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-3.
