Texas High School Softball - Bridgeland holds off Langham Creek

Bridgeland Bears (Cypress, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Langham Creek Lobos (Houston, TX), 4-2 in a league challenge.

The Bears now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fulshear for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 24. Bridgeland will battle a Chargers squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Fort Bend Marshall (Missouri City, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Langham Creek falls to 7-1 on the campaign. The Lobos travel to Angleton (Angleton, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 24. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Angleton won 13-3 in their recent league challenge against Fort Bend Kempner (Sugar Land, TX)
