In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Virginia High Bearcats basketball team scored a good 64-48 triumph over the Central Wise Warriors.
In their next game, the Bearcats meet the Ridgeview Wolfpack (Clintwood, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 24. Virginia High will attempt to move on its 19-5 season record. The Wolfpack enter the match with a 14-9 record after their 75-61 non-league win over Marion (Marion, VA).
With the defeat, Central Wise moves to 9-9 on the year.
