The Springfield Longhorns routed the host Walsh Eagles basketball team by a final score of 60-39 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Longhorns face the La Veta Redhawks (La Veta, CO) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 24. Springfield will attempt to move on its 10-9 season record. The Redhawks enter the game with a 13-7 record after their 44-39 non-league win over Primero (Weston, CO).
