Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Tates Creek Commodores (Lexington, KY) and the host Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY), witnessed Tates Creek's basketball squad nip Lafayette by a margin of 59-53.
The Commodores (10-11) will now prepare for their outing against Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 15-10 record. In their last outing, Lexington Catholic got by Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY), 51-10, in a non-league outing.
The Generals now own a 13-14 record.
