In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Valley View Eagles (Moreno Valley, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Orange Vista Coyotes (Perris, CA), by a margin of 7-2.

With the triumph, Valley View moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Lakeside (Lake Elsinore, CA) to play the Lancers in a non-league contest on Thursday, February 23. The Lancers come into the contest with a record of 0-1. Lakeside lost 9-4 in their recent non-league contest against Chaparral (Temecula, CA)

In their next game, the Coyotes play the Chaparral Pumas (Temecula, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 23. Orange Vista will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Pumas come into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 12-7 non-league loss to Elsinore (Wildomar, CA).
