The Lubbock Westerners baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Chapin Huskies to 6 in the Westerners non-league victory on Thursday.
The Westerners (1-1) will now prepare for their match against El Paso Leadership Academy East (El Paso, TX). The Leaders go into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
The Huskies (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Rams go into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Rio Rancho edged Socorro (El Paso, TX), 8-4, in a non-league match.
