The Chequamegon Screaming Eagles basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Abbotsford Falcons to 54 in the Screaming Eagles league triumph on Thursday.
The Screaming Eagles now sport a 5-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Iola-Scandinavia for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 27. Chequamegon will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 42-39 league loss to Manawa (Manawa, WI). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 12-12.
The Falcons (4-20) will now prepare for their contest against Washburn (Washburn, WI). The Castle Guards enter the non-league contest with a 19-3 record. In their last contest, Washburn ran past Hurley (Hurley, WI), 61-25, in a league contest.
