Traverse City Central Trojans (Traverse City, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Alpena Wildcats (Alpena, MI), 71-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Traverse City Central upgrades its record to 6-15 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Gaylord (Gaylord, MI) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Monday, February 26. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 10-13. Gaylord lost 68-41 in their recent league bout against Cadillac (Cadillac, MI)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 26. Alpena will attempt to upgrade on its 5-17 season record. The Northmen come into the bout with a 11-11 record after their 63-60 league loss to Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI).
