The Amherst Falcons basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Weyauwega-Fremont Warhawks to 60 in the Falcons league victory on Thursday.

The Falcons now sport a 10-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northland Pines for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 27. Amherst will battle a Eagles team coming off a 55-44 league win over Antigo (Antigo, WI). The Eagles record now stands at 7-16.

The Warhawks (12-12) will now prepare for their contest against Algoma (Algoma, WI). The Wolves come into the non-league contest with a 11-11 record. In their last contest, Algoma dropped by Kewaunee (Kewaunee, WI), 68-46, in a league contest.
