The Badger/Greenbush-Middle River Gators (Badger, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Lake of the Woods Bears (Baudette, MN), 80-39 in Thursday's league test.
The Gators (2-28) will now prepare for their test against Red Lake (Red Lake, MN). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 17-7 record. In their last test, Red Lake was trounced by Pine River-Backus (Pine River, MN), 84-80, in a league test.
The Bears now own a 0-22 record. They play next when they host Floodwood for a non-league test on Friday, February 23. Lake of the Woods will encounter a Polar Bears squad coming off a 94-60 league loss to Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida (Cloquet, MN). The Polar Bears record now stands at 0-22.
