Fort Knox Eagles (Fort Knox, KY) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Brown Bears (Louisville, KY), 55-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Fort Knox upgrades its record to 7-20 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY) to play the Bulldogs in a District 17 bout on Monday, February 26. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 4-26. John Hardin lost 62-50 in their recent non-league bout against Apollo (Owensboro, KY)

Next up, the Bears play the Thomas Nelson Generals (Bardstown, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 23. Brown will attempt to upgrade on its 8-19 season record. The Generals come into the bout with a 5-21 record after their 65-50 non-league loss to Campbellsville (Campbellsville, KY).
