The Drummond Lumberjacks basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Butternut Midgets to 29 in the Lumberjacks league triumph on Thursday.

The Lumberjacks now sport a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cornell for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 27. Drummond will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 73-22 league loss to Bruce (Bruce, WI). The Chiefs record now stands at 2-21.

The Midgets (0-23) will now prepare for their contest against Rib Lake (Rib Lake, WI). The Redmen enter the non-league contest with a 19-5 record. In their last contest, Rib Lake triumphed over Phillips (Phillips, WI), 74-60, in a league contest.
