The Clay County Tigers (Manchester, KY) basketball nipped the host Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs (Hazard, KY), 49-47 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Tigers (20-8) will now prepare for their test against Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY). The Mountaineers go into the District 49 test with a 16-16 record. In their last test, Oneida Baptist Institute got by Red Bird (Beverly, KY), 83-52, in a league test.
