The Marshall Cardinals basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the visiting Wisconsin Heights Vanguards to 41 in the Cardinals league victory on Thursday.

The Cardinals now sport a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Necedah for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 27. Marshall will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 38-29 league win over Wonewoc-Center (Wonewoc, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-12.

The Vanguards (10-15) will now prepare for their contest against Brodhead (Brodhead, WI). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 14-12 record. In their last contest, Brodhead triumphed over Evansville (Evansville, WI), 64-59, in a league contest.
