The Southwestern Warriors ran past the visiting Mercer County Titans basketball team by a final score of 54-40 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Warriors face the McCreary Central Raiders (Stearns, KY) in a District 48 game, on Tuesday, February 27. Southwestern will attempt to move on its 14-15 season record. The Raiders enter the game with a 7-20 record after their 62-52 non-league loss to Lincoln County (Stanford, KY).

With the defeat, Mercer County moves to 19-12 on the year.
