The University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) basketball knocked off the visiting Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV), 66-56 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Hawks (12-9) will now prepare for their test against Preston (Kingwood, WV). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 7-15 record. In their last test, Preston went down by University (Morgantown, WV), 59-37, in a non-league test.
The Applemen now own a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Elkins for a non-league test on Friday, February 23. Musselman will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 65-54 non-league win over Trinity Christian (Morgantown, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 5-16.
