Maryland High School Basketball - Rising Sun edges North Harford

The Rising Sun Tigers (North East, MD) basketball nipped the host North Harford Hawks (Pylesville, MD), 61-57 in Thursday's league test.

The Tigers (6-16) will now prepare for their test against Harford Tech (Bel Air, MD). The Cobras go into the non-league test with a 4-17 record. In their last test, Harford Tech was tipped by Elkton (Elkton, MD), 61-47, in a league test.

The Hawks now own a 3-18 record. They play next when they travel to Fallston for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 27. North Harford will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 71-65 non-league loss to Havre de Grace (Havre de Grace, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 11-10.
