Virginia High School Basketball - Abingdon thwarts Lord Botetourt

The Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA) basketball knocked off the host Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA), 52-41 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Falcons (21-6) will now prepare for their test against Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league test with a 22-3 record. In their last test, Carroll County notched a victory over Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA), 62-42, in a non-league test.

The Cavaliers now own a 22-4 record.
