Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Anderson County Bulldogs (Garnett, KS) and the host Burlington Wildcats (Burlington, KS), saw Anderson County's basketball squad hold off Burlington by a tally of 38-35.
With the victory, Anderson County improves its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Wellsville (Wellsville, KS) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-15. Wellsville lost 41-37 in their recent league challenge against Iola (Iola, KS)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Hesston Swathers (Hesston, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 27. Burlington will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Swathers come into the challenge with a 17-3 record after their 62-46 non-league win over Nickerson (Nickerson, KS).
