In Thursday's non-league match, the host Caney Valley Trojans basketball team scored a decisive 45-24 triumph over the Oklahoma Union Cougars.
In their next game, the Trojans meet the Central Tigers (Sallisaw, OK) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 23. Caney Valley will attempt to better on its 16-8 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 17-4 record after their 59-18 non-league win over Ketchum (Ketchum, OK).
With the defeat, Oklahoma Union moves to 0-22 on the year.
