The Coronado Leopards basketball team (Gallina, NM), was nudged 39-32 in Thursday's league battle with the host Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy Eagle (Albuquerque, NM)
The Eagle now possess a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Legacy Academy for a A District 7 battle on Friday, February 23. Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy will confront a Silverbacks team coming off a 52-4 league win over New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM). The Silverbacks record now stands at 13-10.
The Leopards (6-16) will now prepare for their battle against Hozho Academy (Gallup, NM). The Wolves come into the non-league battle with a 6-12 record. In their last battle, Hozho Academy was nudged by Tse' Yi' Gai (Cuba, NM), 46-26, in a non-league battle.
