The Sault Area Blue Devils basketball team (Sault St. Marie, MI), was toppled 64-49 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Escanaba Eskymos (Escanaba, MI)

The Eskymos now possess a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marquette for a Great Northern U.P. battle on Tuesday, February 27. Escanaba will confront a Redmen team coming off a 59-48 non-league loss to Ishpeming (Ishpeming, MI). The Redmen record now stands at 5-14.

The Blue Devils (14-5) will now prepare for their battle against Westwood (Ishpeming, MI). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 10-11 record. In their last battle, Westwood beat Gwinn (Gwinn, MI), 50-21, in a league battle.
