Kentucky High School Basketball - Leslie County ripped by Knox Central

The Knox Central Panthers basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Leslie County Eagles to 34 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 20-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lynn Camp for a District 51 contest on Monday, February 26. Knox Central will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 51-50 non-league win over Burgin (Burgin, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-23.
The Eagles (17-13) will now prepare for their contest against Hazard (Hazard, KY). The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs enter the District 54 contest with a 12-15 record. In their last contest, Hazard was routed by Paintsville (Paintsville, KY), 56-52, in a non-league contest.
