In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Maple River Eagles basketball team scored a tight 48-47 triumph over the LaMoure/Litchville-Marion Loboes.
In their next game, the Eagles meet the Waseca Bluejays (Waseca, MN) in a AA Section 2 match, on Thursday, February 22. Maple River will attempt to better on its 38-14 season record. The Bluejays enter the match with a 8-17 record after their 40-37 non-league win over Worthington (Worthington, MN).
With the defeat, LaMoure/Litchville-Marion moves to 15-13 on the year.
