Utah High School Basketball - Lehi tipped by Skyridge

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Skyridge Falcons basketball team scored a tight 53-49 triumph over the Lehi Pioneers.

In their next game, the Falcons meet the Syracuse Titans (Syracuse, UT) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 26. Skyridge will attempt to better on its 13-10 season record. The Titans enter the match with a 18-5 record after their 49-32 non-league win over Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT).

With the defeat, Lehi moves to 14-9 on the year.

Game Summary: Skyridge led this game from the opening tip-off. The Pioneers found themselfs down By 10 points at the end of the first quarter. In the last 3 quarters, Lehi outscored the Falcons in each quarter. Lehi finally got with in 1 point and had a chance to tie the game but the foul shot fell just short. The Poineers had a chance to tie or take the lead with just 12 seconds left in the game but a three point attempt rolled of the rim and Lehi had to foul with just seconds left. Skyridge made both foul shots for a 4 point win. The Pioneers ended the season with an overall 14-9 record and 8-2 in Region 3 play.
