The Springville Red Devils (Springville, UT) basketball nipped the host Maple Mountain Golden Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT), 45-42 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Red Devils (7-17) will now prepare for their test against Timpview (Provo, UT). The Thunderbirds go into the non-league test with a 18-5 record. In their last test, Timpview got by Woods Cross (Woods Cross, UT), 39-35, in a non-league test.
The Golden Eagles now own a 17-7 record.
