In Thursday's non-league test, the host Socastee Braves lacrosse squad scored a tight 14-7 victory over the Myrtle Beach Seahawks.
The Braves now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host North Myrtle Beach for a non-league test on Monday, February 26. Socastee will face a Chiefs squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC). The Chiefs record now stands at 0-2.
In their next game, the Seahawks face the Carolina Forest Panthers (Myrtle Beach, SC) in a non-league test, on Monday, February 26. Myrtle Beach will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 2-0 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC).
