The La Vega Pirates smashed the host Harmony Science Academy Tigers soccer squad by a margin of 5-0 in Thursday's league match.
The Pirates now sport a 14-1 record. They play next when they host Robinson for a 4A Region 3 District 23 match on Tuesday, February 27. La Vega will encounter a Rockets squad coming off a 2-0 league win over C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX). The Rockets record now stands at 8-6.
