The Pike Road Patriots (Pike Road, AL) softball routed the host Beauregard Hornets (Opelika, AL), 16-9 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Patriots (3-0) will now prepare for their bout against Maplesville (Maplesville, AL). The Red Devils go into the non-league bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Maplesville was routed by Holtville (Deatsville, AL), 10-0, in a non-league bout.
