Doyline Panthers (Doyline, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Loyola College Prep Flyers (Shreveport, LA), 10-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Jonesboro-Hodge for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23.

With the loss, Loyola College Prep falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Flyers travel to Red River (Coushatta, LA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 26. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Red River lost 13-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Northwood (Lena, LA)
