Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Godley Wildcats (Godley, TX) and the host Glen Rose Tigers (Glen Rose, TX), witnessed Godley's softball squad tip Glen Rose by a count of 8-3.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Rains for a non-league match on Friday, March 1.

With the loss, Glen Rose moves to 4-5 on the season. The Tigers host Bosqueville (Waco, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Friday, February 23. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 1-0. Bosqueville won 9-5 in their recent non-league match against Rosebud-Lott (Rosebud, TX)
