The Southwest SD Raiders routed the host Hoover Cardinals softball squad by a count of 24-7 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Raiders (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln (San Diego, CA). The Hornets go into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Lincoln was routed by San Ysidro (San Diego, CA), 11-1, in a non-league battle.
The Cardinals now sport a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Castle Park for a non-league battle on Monday, February 26. Hoover will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 15-5 non-league loss to Morse (San Diego, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-1.
