Texas High School Baseball - Bangs edges Comanche

The Bangs Dragons baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Comanche Indians to 7 in the Dragons non-league win on Saturday.

The Dragons now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Goldthwaite for a 2A Region I District 7 test on Saturday, February 22. Bangs will play a Eagles team coming off a 13-7 league loss to Coleman (Coleman, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Comanche drops to 0-3 on the year. The Indians travel to Clyde (Clyde, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, February 28. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 3-1. Clyde won 10-1 in their recent non-league test against Breckenridge (Breckenridge, TX)
