The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA) and the visiting Newnan Cougars (Newnan, GA), saw Starr's Mill's baseball team gain a win over Newnan by a tally of 6-1.
The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Landmark Christian (Fairburn, GA). The War Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 1-2 record.
Next, the Cougars face the South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, February 25. Newnan will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 5-1 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Westlake (Atlanta, GA).
