West Virginia High School Basketball - Fairmont Senior overwhelms East Fairmont

The Fairmont Senior Polar Bears basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting East Fairmont Bees to 33 in the Polar Bears league triumph on Saturday.

The Polar Bears now possess a 13-4 record. They play next when they host Huntington for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 25. Fairmont Senior will play a Highlanders team coming off a 55-45 non-league win over South Charleston (South Charleston, WV). The Highlanders record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, East Fairmont falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Bees host Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV) to play the Buccaneers in a Big Ten game on Monday, February 24. The Buccaneers go into the game with a record of 11-7. Buckhannon-Upshur won 60-55 in their recent non-league game against Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV)
