The Oak Hill Red Devils basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Independence Patriots to 55 in the Red Devils league triumph on Saturday.

The Red Devils now possess a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Nicholas County for a Coalfield AAA game on Tuesday, February 25. Oak Hill will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 76-62 non-league loss to Sissonville (Charleston, WV). The Grizzlies record now stands at 6-13.

With the loss, Independence falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Riverside (Belle, WV) to confront the Warriors in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 25. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 5-15. Riverside won 74-70 in their recent league game against Capital (Charleston, WV)
