With the victory, Gunnison upgrades its record to 15-7 on the year. The Cowboys host Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO) to face the Rams in a 3A Western Slope match on Saturday, March 1. The Rams enter the match with a record of 19-2.

The Skiers now sport a 5-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grand Valley for a 3A Western Slope match on Tuesday, February 25. Aspen will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 54-15 non-league loss to Rangely (Rangely, CO). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-14.
