The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME) and the host Oxford Hills Vikings (South Paris, ME), observed Cheverus's basketball team edge Oxford Hills by a score of 41-37.
The Stags (17-5) will now prepare for their challenge against South Portland (South Portland, ME). The Red Riots come into the non-league challenge with a 18-3 record. In their last challenge, South Portland edged Gorham (Gorham, ME), 50-37, in a non-league challenge.
