The Kenston Forest Kavaliers basketball squad (Blackstone, VA), was nudged 39-38 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Southampton Academy Raiders (Courtland, VA)

With the victory, Southampton Academy advances its record to 7-12 on the year. The Raiders travel to Brunswick Academy (Lawrenceville, VA) to meet the Vikings in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 22. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 15-2. Brunswick Academy won 49-30 in their recent league test against Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot (Powhatan, VA)
