The Hatch Valley Bears basketball team scored 34 points and limited the visiting Socorro Warriors to 32 in the Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bears now have a 3-12 record.

With the loss, Socorro falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Warriors host Cobre (Bayard, NM) to confront the Indians in a non-league game on Saturday, February 22. The Indians go into the game with a record of 2-4. Cobre won 37-16 in their recent non-league game against Socorro (Socorro, NM)
