Alabama High School Softball - Fruitdale bested by Washington County

The Washington County Bulldogs triumphed over the visiting Fruitdale Pirates softball squad by a count of 13-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Excel Panthers (Excel, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 25. Washington County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 12-7 non-league loss to W.S. Neal (East Brewton, AL).

The Pirates (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Clarke County (Grove Hill, AL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Clarke County was routed by Sweet Water (Sweet Water, AL), 17-2, in a non-league challenge.
