The St. Mary's Dominican softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Slidell Tigers to 1 in the non-league win on Saturday.
The now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Destrehan for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 25. St. Mary's Dominican will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over West Harrison (Gulfport, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Slidell moves to 1-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to St. Joseph's Academy (Baton Rouge, LA) to confront the Redstickers in a non-league battle on Monday, February 24.
