In Thursday's non-league game, the host Marco Island Academy Rays baseball team scored a nice 19-1 victory over the Everglades City .

Game Summary
Marco Island Academy Rays jumped out to an early lead over Everglades City and took home a 19-1 victory on Thursday. The Rays produced 13 runs in the first inning. The offensive power by the Rays came from Chase Berry, Jason Boing, and Colby Chute by collecting doubles with runners in scoring positions. Shamus Coyle (Moose) was credited with the victory and the MVP of the game for his pitching performance.
