The Grants Pirates baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Hope Christian Huskies to 4 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.
The Pirates (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM). The Elks/Elkettes go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Pojoaque Valley gained a win over Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM), 10-1, in a non-league match.
The Huskies (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM). The Broncos go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Kirtland Central was overwhelmed by Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM), 10-1, in a non-league match.
