The Nettleton Tigers baseball team (Nettleton, MS), was overwhelmed 19-4 in Thursday's non-league outing with the visiting New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS)
The Trojans now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Caledonia for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 28. New Hope will face a Cavaliers team coming off a 13-10 non-league loss to Amory (Amory, MS). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-2.
