Newark Collegiate Academy Panthers (Newark, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting McNair Academic Cougars (Jersey City, NJ), 57-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Newark Collegiate Academy upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ) to clash with the Chiefs in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 25. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 18-5. Caldwell won 52-36 in their recent non-league bout against Science Park (Newark, NJ)
