Virginia High School Basketball - Alleghany knocked off by Floyd County

The Floyd County Buffaloes basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Alleghany Mountaineers to 32 in the Buffaloes non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Buffaloes now sport a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenvar for a non-league contest on Monday, February 27. Floyd County will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 38-35 non-league win over Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Highlanders record now stands at 13-11.
