Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK), 71-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Dimond upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Lynx travel to Eagle River (Eagle River, AK) to play the Wolves in a 4A Cook Inlet bout on Friday, February 24. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 1-11. Eagle River lost 41-20 in their recent league bout against Chugiak (Chugiak, AK)

Next up, the Cougars play the West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK) in a 4A Cook Inlet bout, on Friday, February 24. Service will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 14-3 record after their 69-28 league win over Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK).
